CHISIG welcomes new individual and corporate members from all disciplines and any country. Membership is open to those interested in improving the design of computer technology for effective human use.
Why become a member of CHISIG?
Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is becoming the next "boom" phase in information technology. CHISIG is made up of people who recognise this and want to be at the forefront of HCI advances.
As a result of computer technology pervading household and industrial life, the field of HCI is expanding to cater to a growing community of users who have a wide range of backgrounds, skills and training.
By joining CHISIG you and/or your company will:

Membership Levels
CHISIG currently offers three membership categories: Standard, Student, and Corporate.
Individual and Student Membership Benefits
- Certificate of CHISIG membership.
- Four issues of the CHISIG newsletter.
- 20% discount for advertising in the CHISIG newsletter.
- CHISIG Conference fee discount and free copy of proceedings.
- CHISIG organised event discounts.
- Eligibility for entry into the Australian HCI Register.
- Access to the CHISIG website 'Members Only' area.
- Opportunity to 'network' with other members at events, and be part of a growing Australian HCI community.
Corporate Membership Benefits
A corporate CHISIG membership receives all the benefits of an individual membership with the following additions or amendments:
- Three copies of each issue of the CHISIG newsletter
- Up to three delegates receive a CHISIG Conference fee discount
- Up to 3 delegates receive discounts on CHISIG organised events
- Corporate logo and URL displayed on the Corporate Members page of the CHISIG website
- Up to three employees gain access to the CHISIG website 'Members Only' area (in development)

Notes:
- CHISIG also offers Custom Corporate memberships. Please direct enquiries via to the Membership Officer via our online form.
- Fees include GST. GST is payable by Australian residents/companies.
- Membership fees shown are Australian dollars. Overseas payments should be drawn in Australian Dollars on an Australian Bank.
- Memberships are annual - 1 July to 30 June.
- Students must be full-time, and supply a photocopy of their current student card with payment.
