What do Members Want in 2010?

HFESA Members say they want Professional Development in the following areas:

 

Physical Ergonomics

  • Manual tasks:  new National Standard, different risk assessment tools, best practice guidelines, maximizing the benefits of trolleys & assistive devices and skills training

  • Value of movement exercises in office based work

 

Cognitive Ergonomics

  • Work-related stress

  • Human reliability, errors, resilience

  • Work-related fatigue in high risk industries eg. health and transport

  • Understanding human behaviours and safety culture

  • Human error analysis and quantifying error rates

  • Cognitive safety engineering

  • Human Computer Interaction 101

Organisational Ergonomics
