Membership Categories

HFESA accepts membership applications for grades of Student (full-time only), Affiliate, Full Member and Certified Professional Ergonomist.

About HFESA

The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA) is the national organisation run by ergonomists to promote ergonomics in Australia and is a federated member of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA), which is the peak international body of professional ergonomics and human factors organisations.

Membership Fees

CPEs

Certified Professional Ergonomists have been certified by the HFESA and have demonstrated that they have the skills and experience to provide high quality and consistent advice and support in the area of Ergonomics and Human Factors.

Upgrade Membership

Affiliate members wishing to upgrade their membership need to complete the manual application form (see Membership) and send it to the Secretariat (secretariat@ergonomics.org.au) with copies of their CVs and certificates of qualifications. Applications for full membership are reviewed by the Executive to ensure applicants meet the criteria for both experience in ergonomics and education.
