In Quee nsland\, indicatable offences are dealt with in very different way to all other offences. Under the Queensland Work Health and Safety Act\, category one offences and industrial manslaughter\, are indictable offences. The l egal process for indictable offences is longer\, more expensive\, involves a jury\, a risk of incarceration and almost certainly high levels of anxi ety and stress.\n\n \;\n\nThis discussion looks at the progress of ind ictable offences. What happens\, when it happens and what that means for t he person charged. The discussion will look at both the law and the impact of the law\, with separate speakers providing a reflective view on both a spects.
