 nomics
DESCRIPTION:If you are attending the HFESA Conference you do not need to re

 lcome Reception for the HFESA 2019 Conference which will take place afte
 r the Symposium at 5.30pm at the same venue..\n\nThe research symposium w
 ill focus on the nature and impact of technology\, notably robotics and AI
 \, in the future of work. The symposium is being held in conjunction with 
 the National HFESA2019 Conference that is being held at the same venue on 
 Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 November. The theme for the national HFESA confer
 ence is Being Human and Beyond.\n\nProfessor Paul Salmon will facilitate t
 he symposium. Topics presented may include:\n\n 	designing work for enhanc
 ed human performance\; physiological and psychological limitations to huma
 n performance\; non-technical skills (communication\, situation awareness\
 , decision making\, leadership\, team work)\n 	work systems and workplaces
  of the future\n 	virtual reality technology and how it might be used in t
 he workplace\n 	artificial intelligence\, augmentation\, automation and wo
 rk\n 	health\, demographics\, climate\, transport and other factors that a
 re likely to influence work in the future.\n\nThe final program of papers 
 for the symposium will be published at www.HFESA2019.org in November 2019.
