DESCRIPTION:Weighing User Needs\n\n\n\nThe importance of prioritising user 
 requirements to inform design decisions \n\nIn large multi-disciplinary p
 rojects\, it is easy to lose sight of the initial value proposition once t
 he project is in full swing.\n\nThere is always a constant push and pull o
 f new ideas\, identified constraints and issues to be resolved that strain
  the decision making process.\n\nTwo big traps in which the loudest voice 
 heard gets top priority or stakeholders holding the most political power a
 lways get what they demand may hinder the project from meeting its full po
 tential.\n\nThis presentation will try to underpin the main issues hinderi
 ng good design decisions and present various systematic methods for weighi
 ng user needs and maintaining a structured process to achieve good user ce
 ntred design.\n\nPresenter Bio\n\n\n\nAntoine has over 10 years’ experie
 nce in human factors engineering and human centred design. 2 years dedicat
 ed to the design of consumer products and services\, and over 8 years on t
 he development and delivery of major transport and infrastructure projects
 .\n\nAntoine’s keen understanding of project management enables him to t
 ruly embedded human factors solution that connects team to their target en
