SUMMARY:WA Branch PD Event: Human Reliability
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThis session will focus on a human reliability analysis of 
 connection\, import and disconnection of hazardous substances.\nThe conduc
 ted analysis included identification of Major Accident Hazards (MAH)\, rel
 ated tasks and whether the system relies on procedural steps or operator c
 ompetence to complete these correctly.\nIt explores whether inherent or en
 gineering controls could be introduced to increase reliability and whether
  existing procedures could be improved.\nPlease join us to expand your kno
 wledge of Human reliability analysis\, and how this can be use in real wor
 kplace examples.\nFollowing the presentation there will be the opportunity
  to visit the Sylex showrooms and view their workstation desks and other p
 roducts.\n\nRob King\, Director of Coretex Consulting has 15 years’ expe
 rience in providing practical human factors\, ergonomics and workplace ris
 k assessment services to clients in a range of hazardous industries\, incl
 uding oil and gas\, mining and utilities.  He holds Bachelors qualificati
 ons in Psychology and Exercise &amp\; Health Science and is completing a M
 asters in Human Factors &amp\; Safety Management Systems. In 2017 Rob beca
 me a CPE (Certified Professional Ergonomist) which recognises his broad se
 t of skills across cognitive\, organisational and physical ergonomics.\n\n
