SUMMARY:WA PD - IMPRESSIONS OF THE HFESA 2022 CONFERENCE
DESCRIPTION:Jean Mangharam is a consultant ergonomist\, human factors speci
 alist\, and is also a Certified Professional Ergonomist and Registered Phy
 siotherapist. She is the current Chair of the Professional Affairs Board o
 f the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA) and an Adj
 unct Senior Researcher at Curtin University.\n\nShe was the Principal Huma
 n Factors and Ergonomics Scientific Officer for WorkSafe WA between 2005-2
 020\, leading a multidisciplinary team that worked across all domains of h
 uman factors and ergonomics through education\, partnership and enforcemen
 t.\n\nJean’s primary aim is to lead and be part of an international comm
 unity that journeys through designing environments\, products and systems 
 that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional\, comfortable
 \, inclusive\, socially responsible and environmentally sustainable.\n\n&n
 bsp\;\n\nPlease join us for our first WA branch HFESA meeting on 29th marc
 h 2023 for a brief talk and social get together. This will a Perth-based\,
  Face-to-Face Event.\nOur first talk (40 mins) will provide a summary of t
 he HFESA 2022 conference that took place in the Macedon Ranges\, Victoria.

 l conference since covid\n• Take away messages from a keynote speech\n
 • Exciting new research\n• Impressive talks by leaders and up-and-comi
