HFESA PD – Equine Ergonomics
Join us for an interactive night exploring the Equine insights and the Ergonomics of horse husbandry and riding. There will be demonstration of different types of tack (bits, bridles, girths, saddles, etc) with an explanation of the different uses for each. Discussions on the manual handling and safety issues around horses and the environment will ensue.
Please note this is a face to face event only.
Date: October 15th 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Location: 114-120 Lang Road, Moore Park NSW
Dress code: Closed in shoes and preferably boots or something solid … If raining – no umbrellas, please (they can spook the horses).
Weather impacts: Windy weather can also spook the horses (more for what is blown around than the wind itself) and thunder and lightning can also spook horses.
Parking: Parking onsite at the top carpark (above the main arena) if available. If not, parking is possibly available in Cook Road, beside CPEC, in Driver Avenue (near Entertainment Quarter – EQ – this may be on meter) or within EQ. EQ offers 2-hours free parking before 6 pm and flat rate of $7 after 6 pm. Gates to Centennial Park close at sundown so it will not be possible to park there. The access gate between CPEC and EQ closes at 5 pm so we will have to walk around – about 5- 10 minutes walk.
Optional Dinner: Participants are invited to join an optional post-event dinner at Moore Park with other attendees. Please RSVP should you wish to join to help number of table bookings.
