SA PD – Human Factors & Psychology in Aviation: Past Lessons & Future Directions

Please join us for an exciting Professional Development and Networking event, hosted by the HFESA SA Branch and University of South Australia. The event features an opening keynote address from Prof. Siobhan Banks, Director of the University of South Australia’s Behaviour-Brain-Body Research Centre. Prof. Siobhan Banks shall provide insights into fatigue and risk management, and the application of HFE to the aviation sector. This presentation will be followed by a facilitated panel discussion featuring Sam James, Organisational Psychologist and Human Factors Specialist, Australian Army and Thomas Pearce, Senior Human Factors Analyst and Registered Psychologist (Organisational) at the Institute of Aviation Medicine. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with fellow South Australian HFE students, practitioners and researchers interested in the application of HFE to civil and defence aviation. Guests will also receive complimentary refreshments.
